You're PRECIOUS

First of all, I wanna saying hi to my blog.. :)
I hope we wont be a stranger for each other since I seldom take care of you lately..
:"> :">

I just finished watching a movie. The movie is not famous one like other Holywood movies but it is interesting. The title was "Precious", based on the novel "Push" by Sapphire.

The story is about a girl named Claireece 'Precious' Jones, a sixteen-year-old African-American girl born into a life no one would want. She's so fat, err..huge maybe.. :"> She's pregnant for the 2nd time by her absent father. Her first born child was having Down syndrome. At home, she must wait hand and foot on her mother, a poisonously angry woman who abuses her emotionally and physically. School is a place of chaos, she never get a good mark except in Math and never talked in the class, no friend. People like to annoy her.

I was quite shock when i watched this movie. A LOT OF effing words. really.. :))
and how could a mother abuse her own daughter like she was a slut, a shit, not worth at all. How could a mother let her daughter being "touched" by her husband since her daughter still a baby and she didnt even try to stop him, she even abuses her daughter more because her husband like her daughter more than her???

Surely, Precious had a lot of problems in her life. I started to think that "Wew.. This movie was joking. Too many problems, lame. [-(" but then, I got something that maybe we can learn from it.

Everytime Precious being abused by her psycho Mom, annoyed by people around, she will imagine that she is an actress, a singer, a famous people that loved by every one, etc. She 's not feeling worse or down. She keeps imagine and thinking that good thing will happen to her. Other thing that keep her strong was Love. Her baby loves her, her teacher loves her.

So, inspired by the movie, I make some selfnote. "When you having a lot of problems, you must try to keep thinking good things will happen soon. You must having faith that rainbow will appear after big heavy rain. You are what you think. And keep remind yourself that there are some people who love you the way you are."

No matter how ugly or bad or stupid we are, we are precious. ;)

P.S. The end of the movie, Precious having a better life with her two kiddos but she's having HIV. :(
